Cellar Notes: Pink is "In"
The latest buzz in wine circles these days is "pink" wines; namely, blush and rosé. Both wines have gained popularity over the years, but now there is a positive fervor for these light-colored, subtle wines. In March, proprietor Dan Enerson addressed the Wineries Unlimited Conference in Valley Forge, PA. Dan made a presentation on making rosé wines, and two Windgate pink wines won medals: Eye of the Shadow, (a double Gold Medal) and Amish Blush (Gold). Visitors to the winery can try them out in our tasting room.

New Releases
Our popular blueberry wine is back on the shelves after a brief absence (for some reason, blueberries have been in short supply). Other fruit wine favorites are aso available again in new releases: Cherry and Blackberry. (See all our wines)

Vine Room Opens
Plan your next event at Windgate. Reserve our newly created Vine Room. Complete with a large deck, it overloooks the vineyard grounds and can seat 60 people. It's the perfect setting for celebrations of any kind, for meetings, or a stopping-off spot for group tours. Call us for details.

Shop Windgate
We have a full selection of wine baskets, wine racks of many shapes and sizes, picnic totes, decanters, and other unique gifts. Visit us at our Shop at the Winery, and at our store in the Pittsburgh Mills (Exit 12A off Rte 28 in Tarentum).
